Your support helps us work together to fulfill Jesus’ prayer that God’s “will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

How Giving Blesses You

Giving to God also ends up benefiting us much more than it costs. Giving with a joyful heart and generous spirit shows our humility as we honor God for everything he’s already given us.


Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Ways You Can Give*

Consider giving a portion of your “first fruits” back to God by supporting Journey as we work to advance his kingdom. 


You may choose to support Journey monetarily through:

  1. Tithing to Journey. 
  2. Contributions to Journey to the Streets, Celebrate Recovery and other special campaigns that we announce in services and through the Church Center App.

  • When you choose to tithe, you are joining Journey in our work to walk with the disconnected as we spread the good news of Jesus.

    Tithing is more than giving. The word “tithe” literally means tenth and in the Old Testament God’s people gave 10 percent of all their gained resources as an offering.


    But the Bible teaches that it is our heart of thanksgiving that God hopes to see, more than simply watching us dutifully perform an empty spiritual obligation.


    In Mark 12:41–44, Jesus sits down and watches people as they put money into the offering box. Many put in large amounts, but Jesus notes how a “poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”


    This exchange shows Christ’s understanding that our faith is revealed in loving acts of sacrifice and generosity—not through a mindless sense of duty.


    We show our trust in his provision through giving with a thankful and faithful heart.


  • You can also opt to give directly to one of our special campaigns that are listed in the Church Center App (Celebrate Recovery, Journey to the Streets, Adopt-a-Student, etc...).

How Journey Stewards Your Offering

We feel blessed when we receive your contributions, and we realize this blessing comes with a responsibility to be good stewards.


Journey puts your gifts to work for God’s purpose of spreading the good news by:

  • Supporting local organizations that assist the disconnected in our hometown. 
  • Participating in church planting and leader support through Nexus to, “make disciples who make disciples who start churches that start churches!”
  • Hosting training, conferences and guest speakers to help you learn more about following the way of Jesus.
  • Funding (1) operating cost for church facilities, (2) program development to support you and your family and (3) staff wages. The budget for Journey in 2023 is $51,285 per month.
