History's Journey

Journey is a family of Jesus followers who are:

"Walking with disconnected people

in transforming community

as we become like Jesus."

This mandate defines are target audience (disconnected people),

our methodology (transforming community), and our destination (becoming like Jesus).

The following core statements help guide the way for our life together.

We believe that belonging happens before believing

and we welcome anyone at any point along the journey of faith.

We believe that Journey is only one expression of the much larger body of Christ.

We believe that Christ's death, burial, and resurrection is the unifying core of our faith.

We believe that the Bible is God-breathed, true in all its teachings,

and is the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.
